Employment Injury Treatment Programme

Employment Injury Treatment Programme is a facility provided by PERKESO for its contributors who suffer accidents at the workplace to receive emergency treatment at registered PERKESO panel clinics for free. This facility is facilitated through the PERKESO health application, SEHATI, formerly known as SEHATi Medical Benefit, which allows eligibility checking to be made directly by the clinic using the workers’ identity number (IC number). Private clinics that have been appointed and are part of Employment Injury Treatment Programme panel can provide medical treatment to any PERKESO Insured Person who suffers a 'Workplace Accident'.

Workplace Accident means an accident happen to a worker caused by an accident arising out of and during their employment in a particular workplace.

Insured Person: Eligible contributor is an active contributor under the Employment Injury Scheme of the Employees' Social Security Act 1969 (Act 4) who has suffered an accident at the workplace.
